Late posting.

Sorry all, I have been sick recently, and there hasn't really been any weather that would allow me the chance to be out in the ol garage, so as soon as things pick up I will post another. Hold tight you light weights, we will get back on the wooden booze horse soon enough.

I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Alright, so I happen to have a friend of mine that has deemed the Mario table worthy of making. So, my next project is a 'gaming base' theme table... I know that my follower base is slim... but hey, I check your stuff out religiously so that the reciprocation will provide me with ideas and tasks and hopefully orders.

So NEXT on the list is a game table. My friend likes the outstanding games... you know, CSS (Counter Strike Source), Starcraft dos, WoW (World of Warcraft); for which I hear he was sponsored and apparently top ranked for years.... Oh and who doesn't like Modern Warfare and Halo online? Show of hands for people that don't like it....? Show of hands for douche bags....? No no, you people that raised your hands the first time... raise them again!

So I would like input on ideas, here is the base: 8foot by 2 foot table with or without cup-holes cut in... but I am also willing to do an 8foot by 4 foot for criteria that is deemed in need of more room.

The plan is to find the best in-game pictures and what not of the games he wants, and print on special paper, then cut out and apply to table, then clear coat like my life depends on it.

PUHLEASE send some input on what you would like to see in a gaming table... also willing to do a separate table dedicated to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series.

Why You Need A Custom Beer Pong Table

You Need A Custom Beer Pong Table
why you may ask? We'll let me break it down for you.

That table in your garage? The one you play beer pong on every weekend when the "bros" come over?

Yeah that looks like shit.

I remember my first beer pong table, it was fun while it lasted, but let's be honest here: you're not in High School anymore and it's time you graduated from this junk to something a bit more sophisticated.

Now that's a beer pong table! If you're hosting a party for someone other than your dungeons and dragons club, a custom beer pong table is a must.

You got the flat screen, you got the spinning rims, why in God's name don't you have a nice table? This isn't Soviet Russia, this is America! We spend money on frivolous shit because it looks fucking cool.

So nut up and show some patriotism, and get yourself a custom pong table.

"AMERICA FUCK YEAH"

'TEAM “STANDING OVATION” WINS $50,000 AT WORLD SERIES OF BEER PONG VI'

Dan Range from Columbia, Ill., and Nick Syrigos, from St. Charles, Mo., playing under team name “Standing Ovation,” have earned the title of World Series of Beer Pong VI™ (WSOBP VI) champions. The $50,000 grand prize check was presented by internationally acclaimed announcer Bruce Buffer and the BPONG.COM founders during Tuesday night’s finale at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The World Series of Beer Pong is the largest, longest-running beer pong tournament in the world.
With the crowd chanting, “USA, USA!” team “Standing Ovation” took on “Unstoppable Since Inception,” whose duo was undefeated going into the finals and included a player representing Canada. The finals match featured a best-of-three format, but team “Standing Ovation” came back from two early deficits to win the first two games. Mike "Pop" Popielarski from team “SmashingTime,” who had won the WSOBP the past two years in a row, congratulated the duo by giving them the last cup, the balls from the winning game and a pitcher of beer.

Oregon State Numero Uno-versity

This is the first table. A little overdue, but we
are college students, who actually do our homework. So bare with us. But it turned out pretty good! It won't swell when your tweed suit wearing moron of a mate decides to knock over his brew! So leave some knowledge so I can see what you want from the next one.

Oregon State University table: For Sale

On a side note, here is my dog, being all skunked and sitting under the table.

Tape, the important parts.

The MOST important part of the job... taping your shit right.

I wish to inform you that taping the table the right way... is SUPER helpful. If by chance you skimp on time and quick tape and it turns out outstanding... woo, good for you... but you are going to mess it up and hate having to take a safety razor to the excess paint and then re-taping and then re-painting.

So quick hint => Measure three times, tape it right the first time, paint it slowly... and you will like yourself more.

The Beginning

So, after we started the sanding, and routing of the edges... we came to realize, the grooved lip in our board... made the router sink in. So I sarcastically scolded Hayden... for many minutes, then we proceeded to play single cup shootout on our not finished, at all, table. So instead of pouring water or something into the cup to keep the ball from knocking it over, we drilled cup holes in two-bye-fours, and used them as placers... we are on to something.

Photo update soon, finishing the boring woodwork that we have hardly prepared for... tomorrow.

Its On Its On Its On!

So,
We just got our boards together today... thinking that we had all the tools needed for the task at hand... Making a beer pong table to our new specifications and thoughts. Admittedly, the thinking we were prepared, all my fault. Because we were not prepared. And now we have two empty and shite boards sitting in the garage.

Note to self; having a router isn't worth a damn if you can't find the router bit you need. Also, the store having no table legs is indeed a horrible thing... if you are also without a sawhorse.

To be continued....

Some Food For Thought On YOUR College Education

I'd love to say that we provide such brilliant table ideas... we don't, its not that we haven't had the ideas, we have, we just don't have graduate level college engineering degrees... *yet* ;)

In The Beginning

All,

I know what you are thinking... What is this even about? Why am I reading this?

Actually I have no idea what you are thinking, but I am thinking that I need to inform you of the purpose of this blog of ours.

A great friend of mine and I have been through just enough together to know that we are fans of college and fan of friends, and along came beer pong. Now we aren't saying we are the best, nor are we particularly that amazing at all, but we know that we sure had more fun playing on cool tables!

And that is why I write this. My friend and I are going to try to improve your disposition towards beer pong and towards beer pong tables.

Throughout the progression of this blog we will be making some albeit basic at first, but eventually awesome beer pong tables, and showing you what we did, the problems we faced, how you can improve it, and how it all turned out.

*oh, and we will be posting all sorts of pictures and videos that relate to the whole idea of beer pong.
